The UK Shing Hing Dragon & Lion Dance Sport Center and Hongkongers in Britain (HKB) are hosting a Dragon and Lion Dance workshop. This event aims to promote Hong Kong’s unique lion dance culture, allowing Hongkongers in the UK to gain a deeper understanding of this precious tradition while fostering team spirit. Unity is everything! 💪🔥
🎶 Activity Highlights:
🪘 Drumming Rhythm Experience: Learn the powerful beats that lead the dance.
🦁 Basic Lion Dance Techniques: Master the fundamental movements.
📚 History & Stories: Discover the fascinating heritage behind the tradition.
The best part? Every participant will have the chance to try every single role! Whether you want to try being the “Lion Head,” the “Lion Tail,” or the drummer, you can experience it all. It is suitable for both adults and children! ✨
Our instructor holds internationally recognised coaching qualifications and has previously taught at numerous primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong.
