講者將會討論英國同香港 LGBTQ+ 社群喺醫療系統獲得嘅支援、比較兩地媒體對 LGBTQ+ 社群嘅描繪、兩地企業如何推動多元性同建立尊重個體嘅工作環境、兩地嘅支援體系同社區組織、以及兩地對於 LGBTQ+ 社群嘅態度。
The gender identities and sexual orientations of us humans are diverse. In the UK, policies and public discussion of LGBTQ+ matters are more progressive than that in Hong Kong. No matter whether you identify as LGBTQ+, or if you are an ally of the LGBTQ+ community, this webinar can enable you know more comprehensively the situation of LGBTQ+ rights in Hong Kong and the UK, and equip you with the knowledge and vocabulary to discuss these important topics with people around you.
Comparing between Hong Kong and the UK, the speaker will discuss healthcare access, visibility and representation in media, corporate inclusivity, community support system and public perception of the LGBTQ+ community in both places.
