You Have a Stake in the UK General Election – V4HK Community Event in Reading
嚟到 V4HK 社區活動第三站，英國港僑協會同 V4HK 以及 Reading Hongkongers CIC 將合辦選民教育講座。我哋除咗會向參加者講解 V4HK 嘅工作同提供選舉同投票資訊之外，今次亦邀請到 V4HK 籌委鄭家朗、林德峻同 V4HK 成員區倬僖參與討論，一齊傾吓香港人喺英國關注嘅議題。我哋亦會有討論環節，俾各位參與討論在英港人可以點樣參與英國政治。
公民教育當然要由細開始啦。當日我哋亦同 Kongtinue 合作，為六至十四歲嘅小朋友提供公民教育活動 ( 名額有限 ) ，歡迎各位家長帶同你哋嘅小朋友嚟參與活動。我哋會盡快公佈小朋友活動嘅詳情！
Hongkongers in Britain, in collaboration with V4HK and Reading Hongkongers CIC, will be holding a voter education seminar in this third stop of V4HK community event series. Apart from explaining the work of V4HK and providing election and voting information to participants, we have invited V4HK organisers Isaac Cheng, Artie Lam, and member Au Cheuk Hei to join the discussion, addressing issues of concern to Hongkongers in the UK. There will also be a discussion session where participants can engage in conversations about how Hongkongers in the UK can participate in British politics.
We all know the importance of starting education young. We are excited to collaborate with Kongtinue to provide civic education activities for children aged 6 to 14 on the day (limited slots available). Parents are invited to bring your children to participate in the activities. Details for the children’s activities will be announced soon, stay tuned!
