{"id":2791,"date":"2023-11-22T00:42:04","date_gmt":"2023-11-22T00:42:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hongkongers.org.uk\/?p=2791"},"modified":"2023-11-27T00:44:10","modified_gmt":"2023-11-27T00:44:10","slug":"the-long-road-to-equality-hong-kong-lgbtq-rights-seminar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hongkongers.org.uk\/zh\/2023\/11\/the-long-road-to-equality-hong-kong-lgbtq-rights-seminar\/","title":{"rendered":"\u7121\u6b67\u4e4b\u8def - \u9999\u6e2f LGBTQ+ \u5e73\u6b0a\u8b1b\u5ea7"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u7121\u6b67\u4e4b\u8def &#8211; \u9999\u6e2f LGBTQ+ \u5e73\u6b0a\u8b1b\u5ea7<br>\u7121\u6b67\u4e4b\u8def - \u9999\u6e2f LGBTQ+ \u5e73\u6b0a\u8b1b\u5ea7<br><br>\u540c\u6027\u5e73\u6b0a\u904b\u52d5\u65e9\u5728 70 \u5e74\u4ee3\u5c55\u958b\uff0c\u76f4\u5230 2000 \u5e74\u4e0d\u540c\u6b50\u6d32\u570b\u5bb6\u958b\u59cb\u627f\u8a8d\u540c\u6027\u7d50\u5408\u3002\u5728\u9999\u6e2f\uff0c\u540c\u6027\u6b0a\u76ca\u5728\u53f8\u6cd5\u754c\u7684\u89d2\u529b\u65e9\u5728 2000 \u5e74\u958b\u59cb\u3002\u76f4\u81f3\u4eca\u5e74\uff0c\u5c91\u5b50\u6770\u6848\u5b9a\u51fa\u5169\u5e74\u5167\u5efa\u7acb\u6cd5\u5f8b\u8a8d\u53ef\u540c\u6027\u95dc\u4fc2\u7684\u66ff\u4ee3\u6846\u67b6\uff0c\u4ee4\u540c\u6027\u6b0a\u76ca\u5728\u9999\u6e2f\u6709\u7a81\u7834\u6027\u7684\u9032\u5c55\u3002<br><br>\u6211\u5011\u6709\u5e78\u9080\u8acb\u5230\u9999\u6e2f\u5927\u5b78\u6cd5\u5f8b\u5b78\u9662\u5ba2\u5e2d\u6559\u6388\u548c\u524d\u516c\u6cd5\u8b1b\u5ea7\u6559\u6388\u9673\u6587\u654f\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u66fe\u5728 2004 \u5e74\u9996\u4f4d\u4ee5\u53f8\u6cd5\u8986\u6838\u65b9\u5f0f\u722d\u53d6LGBTQ+\u5e73\u6b0a\u7684 Billy\u3002\u4ed6\u5011\u6703\u5c31\u540c\u5fd7\u6b0a\u76ca\u7684\u61b2\u6cd5\u4fdd\u8b77\u53ca\u793e\u6703\u4fdd\u969c\u3001\u5169\u5e74\u6846\u67b6\u7684\u767c\u5c55\u65b9\u5411\u548c\u53f8\u6cd5\u8986\u6838\u8005\u7684\u5fc3\u8def\u6b77\u7a0b\u5206\u4eab\u3002\u6211\u5011\u4ea6\u6703\u900f\u904e\u7db2\u4e0a\u5e73\u53f0\u8b93\u672a\u80fd\u73fe\u5834\u51fa\u5e2d\u7684\u89c0\u773e\u7db2\u4e0a\u767b\u8a18\u4e26\u89c0\u770b\u6574\u500b\u5c0d\u8ac7\u3002<br><br>The LGBTQ+ rights movement began as early as in the 1970s, and it wasn&#8217;t until the 2000s that various European countries started recognising same-sex unions. In Hong Kong, the campaign for legal recognition of LGBTQ+ rights began in the 2000s, culminating in the recent landmark case of Jimmy Sham, which required the introduction of an alternative framework for legal recognition of same-sex relationships within two years. This marked a significant breakthrough for LGBTQ+ rights in Hong Kong.<br><br>We are honoured to have invited Prof. Johannes Chan Man-mun, an Adjunct Professor, former Chair Professor of Public Law and former Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Hong Kong, and Billy,\u00a0who brought the first legal challenge on the grounds of LGBTQ+ equality in 2004 in Hong Kong\u00a0to join us in this seminar. They will explore the constitutional protection and the possible development of the suggested alternative framework, and reflect on the personal journey of those involved in the judicial review.
