A pro-Peking politician advocated for a ‘default registration system for organ donors from Hong Kong’, and the Hong Kong Police used the ‘National Security Law’ to intimidate Hong Kong citizens, aiming to obstacle the trend of cancelling registrations. Those highlighted the opacity of the organ donation registry in Hong Kong. The escalating human rights situation in Hong Kong serves as a stark reminder of the human rights violations perpetrated by the Peking regime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Under the rule of the Peking regime in China, there are reports of organ trafficking, dubious sources of organ donations, and forced organ harvesting from dissidents. It has come to light that countries have also experienced significant instances of organ trafficking from China. This allows individuals to obtain organs through comprehensive services in China easily. These organs may potentially come from persecuted groups such as Falun Gong practitioners, Uyghurs, activists, and unfairly detained university students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This late November, on the eve of Human Rights Day, we will present, through works of artists from around the world, the true plight of the people in Hong Kong and throughout China who struggle to survive under oppressive circumstances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Art Festival aims to provide a different perspective on scars and the pain endured.
